CLAIR conducts research and surveys on local government in collaboration with its overseas offices. The researches generally cover issues in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Singapore, South Korea, Australia and China. The results of research are printed and distributed to prefectural and designated city offices in Japan as well as related organizations. "CLAIR REPORTS" focus on themes such as "local development" or "local finance", and provide up-to-date information on a wide range of topics.
