Institute for Comparative Studies in Local Governance (COSLOG) |

CLAIR has been collaborating with the Institute for Comparative Studies in Local Governance (COSLOG) at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) to conduct research on Japanese local governance systems and their operation. As part of this activity, CLAIR and COSLOG have been compiling research reports on Japanese local governance which are written in English, and have been collecting documents and reference materials on local governance both inside and outside Japan.

CLAIR has commissioned the GRIPS to open the Institute for Comparative Studies on Local Governance (COSLOG) within its walls.
At COSLOG, one can consult references and documents on local governance in Japan and abroad, research reports and brochures published by organizations involved in local governance as well as various specialized publications.
For consultation, please contact the COSLOG office.
