In 1906, a Sister city relationship was established.
In 1999, Sister city project was signed by mayor of the two towns. One in it is student exchange.

A travel abroad expense of Kutchan students is heavy. So budget for this program is difficult.

Students are working in overseas, going to Europe on a long study taking advantage of this program. And this program is making good friendship between the two cities. To continue on this program in the future, in the hope young people who carry the load of the next era on your shoulders. We wish they had more internationally minded.
