Kyoto Prefecture aims to promote Kyoto's own distinctive administration by making full use of its academic resources and past achievements in interaction with the Northeast Asian countries.

To promote and support scientific and cultural interaction in the Northeast Asia Region, through a network of industry, academia and government. It aims at realizing creative development of industry, economy, academia, lifestyle and culture in the region.
