In partnership with The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Osaka City has established 13 courses, including Urban Engineering, Urban Transportation, Air Pollution, Urban Sewerage, Urban Greenery, and Rescue Techniques, and accepts trainees every year from developing countries and areas.

Global Environment Center Foundation (GEC): For courses concerning the environment, such as Air Pollution, the GEC handles the follow-up correspondence once the participants have returned to their countries

- Results and Future Prospects:

When surveyed after they returned to their home countries, almost all of the participants responded that they got a lot of value out of the course content. We plan to continue to enrich the training in response to various needs.

The follow-up of participants who have returned home is limited to the field of the environment.
