Motive for the start of project:
To educate trainees from developing countries by providing them with the necessary skills for the development and prosperity of their nations, as well as to promote international exchange in municipalities through interacting with prefectural citizens.
Outline and Progress of Project:
Since the program launched in 1987, Nara Prefecture has accepted 132 trainees from 20 developing countries.

Results and Future Prospects:
The program has achieved positive results in supporting technological development and educating experts through a wide range of exchange activities and international cooperation. Now Nara Prefecture is aiming to building a network for promoting mutual exchange among returned trainees who are active in their fields.
