Certificate of registered items in the Foreign Resident Registry
When you are applying for certifications or seeking employment, you can have this certificate issued as proof of items registered in the Foreign Resident’s Registry relating to your address in Japan and your identity (gaikokujin toroku genpyo kisai jiko shomeisho). You or a relative living with you can request this certificate at your administrative office of your local municipality. If anyone else requests this certificate for you, they must have a letter of authorization.
