Trustee organizations must provide trainees with notification in writing of treatment, such as contents of training, hours of training and training allowance, so that problems are prevented before they arise and trainees are treated appropriately. In addition, as trainees are not workers, they cannot be made to take part in training outside of training hours, or training on days of leave.

As it is appropriate for training to be carried out within the normal working hours of the trustee organization, as a general principle basic training hours are 40 hours a week. Training outside training hours or on holidays is not permitted.
