Training allowance is paid for the everyday living expenses requested trainees while they are staying in Japan (food expenses, clothing expenses, education and entertainment expenses, telephone expenses and other miscellaneous expenses). The entire amount of this training allowance must be paid directly by the trustee organization to the trainee on a fixed, determined day once a month, and immediately upon the trainee’s arrival in Japan, he or she must be given part of the training allowance as a deposit for everyday living expenses. In the event that the training allowance is paid into a bank account, it is necessary to have the consent of the person in question. The person in question must keep a bank book, personal seal and cash card for this bank account.
Furthermore, as a general principle the trustee company is responsible for paying for the round-trip transportation expenses, accommodation expenses, expenses of carrying out training, insurance expenses etc.
In addition, the expenses of delivery and management and the training allowance must be clearly demarcated, and the expense of delivery and management must not be taken out of the training allowance.
