These facilities include: clinics for holiday/nighttime acute patients (kyujitsu kyukan shinryojo), which can also be used during the year-end and new year period; emergency medical centers (kyukyu iryou center) and nighttime emergency centers (yakan kyubyou center) for acute problems occurring at night or other irregular settings; dental health medical center (shika hoken iryou center) for toothaches during holidays; and emergency medical information centers (kyukyu iryou jouhou center) and stand-by doctor shift system (zaitaku touban-i seido).
