Since 1987, the JET Programme has seen countless participants from all over the world, significantly contributing to the promotion of foreign language education and international exchange at a local level. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the programme, we are hosting a commemorative ceremony themed "40 Years, Connected by JET".
In the ceremony, we will hear speeches from the hosting organisations, the "JET Declaration", and presentations from representatives of JETAA. In addition, we will learn about the various experiences and results brought about by the JET Programme. Finally, we will see the award ceremony for the 40th Anniversary Photo Contest.
Time: Monday, 2 November 15:00-17:30 (JST)
Theme: 40 Years, Connected by JET
Hosted by: MIC, MOFA, MEXT, and CLAIR
